Dr Jonathan Hayes

BM MRCGP

Dr Hayes was born in Bristol and educated at Colston’s School.  He studied medicine at Southampton University and graduated in 1995.  After completing his general practice training he was awarded membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and joined Oldland Surgery as a partner in 1999.

In addition to his work at Hanham Health, Dr Hayes is currently the Lead GP for Clinical Governance for NHS South Gloucestershire, which is part of the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Primary Care Trust (BNSSG PCT) Cluster.  He also serves on the board of the South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and is the Governance and Quality Director for Frendoc, the GP out of hours service for South Gloucestershire and North Bristol.

As many patients who have visited his consulting room at Oldland Surgery will know, he is an avid fan of Dr Who and his ‘unique’ display of memorabilia has been discussed on BBC Radio 5 live.
