B1956 BDS FDS RCPS DipMedSci MBChB DFP DRCOG MRCGP.
Dr Bigwood qualified from Edinburgh, St Andrews and Manchester Universities. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1989.He worked in a variety of Specialist surgical units and gained a broad based Hospital training before deciding on General Practice. He has been a Partner at Hanham since 1996.
Dr Bigwood has always been interested in teaching and is currently responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate medical training of students and trainees both here at Hanham and at Bristol Medical School. He also has special interests in Minor Surgery, in the care of Children, and of people with Learning Difficulties.
