Part-time Receptionists – Hanham Surgery

Hanham Health is seeking to recruit part-time Receptionists to work various hours (20 – 25 per week) over 4 days predominantly at its Hanham surgery. Starting rate of pay is £7.90 per hour (increasing on successful completion of probationary period) + generous holiday entitlement and NHS pension.

Working as part of our Reception Team, you will be involved in all reception duties including appointment bookings, answering queries, handling confidential correspondence as well as assisting our team of GPs. You will be expected to work in both our back office call answering centre and on the waiting room front desk. An excellent telephone manner is essential as a large proportion of the job is telephone based.

Shifts will be set where possible however the successful candidate will need to be flexible to cover variable shifts between our opening hours and you may also be required to work at our branch surgery in Oldland Common.

A full Drivers licence is essential and although previous experience of a GP practice would be beneficial it is not essential as full training will be offered.

Hanham Health Substance Misuse Administrator (Maternity Cover)HM Prison Eastwood Park

Reports to:  Substance Misuse Lead

Location:     HMP Eastwood Park, Falfield, Wotton-under-Edge, GL12 8DB

Salary:        £18,000 per annum

Holidays:     26 days per annum

Term:         Maternity cover (12-months fixed term)

Hours:        Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

Start Date:   Monday 23rd July 2018

Hanham Health is looking for a full-time administrator to provide maternity cover over a 12-month period within the substance misuse team at HM Eastwood Park. HMP Eastwood Park is a female closed establishment with approximately 500 offenders. Some of the many health services offered at the prison include GP clinics, nurse clinics, long-term condition management, mental health, substance misuse, dentistry and optometry. This unique environment offers a wide range of tasks and challenges, and an insight into the complexities of working within both the secure environment sector and the healthcare sector. The successful applicant will benefit from on-the-job training and induction by the current occupant of the role, who will then be taking maternity leave.

Interviews are expected to take place w/c 4th June 2018. The successful applicant will be subject to security vetting procedures, which can take a few weeks to process.

Salary:         £16,500 – £18,000 per annum

HMP Bristol is a male, remand establishment with approximately 600 offenders. Some of the many health services offered at the prison include GP clinics, nurse clinics, long-term condition management, mental health, substance misuse, dentistry and optometry. This unique environment offers a wide range of tasks and challenges, and an insight into the complexities of working within both the secure environment sector and the healthcare sector. The successful applicant will benefit from on-the-job training and induction.
